Things to do

Key Largo is a sleepy town about halfway between the Miami airport and Key West surrounded by warm clear waters, top notch snorkeling and fishing spots, mangrove forests, unique wildlife, and quirky attractions.

INGRID’S FAMOUS UPPER KEYS TOUR

Ingrid has been perfecting the Upper keys tour since bringing her college roommates on a Florida Keys trip when she was still living in Baltimore! The tour takes between 3 and 6 hours to complete with lots of options for the best Florida Keys snacks, swimming and snorkeling breaks, wildlife encounters, goofy photo opps and more. Check out your invite for the full tour!

EAT & DRINK

The Florida Keys are known for fresh seafood with delicious Caribbean influences. Be sure to try conch fritters (pronounced KONK) and Key Lime Pie while you’re in town! We recommend the conch fritters and key lime pie at Miss Mac’s Kitchen. Also make sure to enjoy a meal while dockside and bonus points for a sunset dockside meal! Snook’s Bayside is our favorite spot on Key Largo for waterfront sunset dining, maybe you’ll even get a chance to blow the horn!

EXPLORE

The water around Key Largo is home to John C Pennekamp National Park, the first ever underwater national park! The reefs around the island teem with wildlife including the friendly sea turtle, colorful reef fish, sneaky sting rays, majestic tarpon, curious barracudas and even some laid back nurse sharks. There are several local snorkeling tours including the big boat at John C. Pennekamp and also several smaller and private tours. Check out this list for great snorkeling and other adventures to peruse in the Florida Keys!
